6/27/17 @ 1843 hours, Seaford Fire was dispatched for a Smoke Investigation in the area of Ellis Mill Road and Quail Road. Upon arrival of 87 Command (A/C Wilson) was met by neighbors at end of long dirt lane stating the the home is totally engulfed and possibly subject still in the home. Command upgraded to working alarm which brought Stations 71 Blades, 72 Bridgeville, 78 Greenwood, 100 Federalsburg, and 26 Eldorado- Brookview to the scene for assistance. Sussex County Paramedics, Delaware State Fire Marshal, and DSP were also requested. We used 15000 gallons of water to extinguish the fire. Fire is under investigation by Delaware State Fire Marshals Office. Operated for over 3 hours on this alarm. Station 14 Sharptown covered Station 87.
