Eric Upole began in the fire service at the age of 16 at Frankford Vol. Fire Co. and joined Bethany beach vol. fire company as a live in at the age of 18 while obtaining his emt certification.  Eric used his EMT to work part time at various stations throughout the state.  

 

Eric has obtained certifications including EMT, Driver/operator, basic, structural firefighting skills, vehicle rescue, hazmat, and crew leader. 

 

Eric has been career staff at SVFD since June of 2021.
