Zach Middleton

Zach began his Fire/EMS service in January 2019 as a volunteer firefighter/EMT at the Pittsville
Volunteer Fire Department in Pittsville, MD. His first year of service resulted in receiving Pittsville VFD’s
EMS Provider of the Year award and a Top Responder award.

Zach was hired at Seaford VFD as a Firefighter/EMT in October 2020. His previous Fire/EMS work
experience employment at Delmar Fire Department and Blades Fire Company. Zach has earned a
multitude of certifications including Proboard Firefighter 1&2, Vehicle and Machinery Extrication,
Hazardous Materials Operation, and Emergency Medical Technician, Emergency Vehicle Operator, Crew
Leader, and NIMS ICS 100, 200, and 700.
