Micah Eddy

Micah Eddy began his fire service career as a volunteer for Singerly Fire Company of Elkton, MD in 2017. He’s held numerous positions including Lieutenant, Captain, Truck Captain and Training officer. Micah received the Chiefs Award in 2019. He comes from a military background, serving several years in the Marine Corps. Micah Eddy was a career Firefighter/NREMT with Volunteer Hose of Middletown where he was awarded the New Castle County’s Pre-Hospital Sudden Cardiac Arrest Save Citation

Micah’s current certifications are Pro Board Firefighter I & II, Hazmat Awareness / Operations, Vehicle Technical Rescue I & II,
Fire Officer I, Delaware / Maryland EMT, Rescue Tech Site Ops, RIT, Water Rescue I & II, Crew Leader, Tactical Emergency Casualty Care, ICS-100, 200, 300, 700. Truck Company Operations 

Seaford Vol. Fire Department hired Micah in November of 2021 and he is currently a Rescue Technician with Sussex County Technical Rescue Team.
